Benefits of Running Uncovered

There are hundreds of healthful benefits why people run. However, I've decided to narrow the field down to the most fruitful ones I've come to know over the last two decades. Of course in the imagination of every runner benefits will be different than those of others.

Rarely do I ever have to go to the doctor for anything. If I do it's usually for a check-up and not from coming down with a cold or the flue. I'm sure at this point if you've been a runner for very long you do build an excellent immune system! Something about the deep breathing mixing with blood cells. Makes sense to me. I'm sure it does you as well. Any kind of preventative measures is well worth your good health.

I do have to let you in on a little secret. If you smoke, you won't for long. That goes by the way side about mile two! We all make choices. I myself smoked until my thirty-eighth birthday. When I started running I could hardly walk to the end of the block before getting out of breath. Never dreamed…I would someday be running marathons. You will too! Only your choice of course. I never attempted to run a marathon until I had been running for about seven years. I see beginners all the time. They only were running one or two years. Not me!

If you have any kind of a weight problem running is a sure cure for that. The thing with running your body has a way of finding your perfect balance for your height, age and body fat. Of course if you choose to take the racing scene like me, you'll most likely run a lower body-fat than every day runners. Talk about looking your age. This is another known fact; runners or people who regularly work-out tend to look ten years younger!

Did you know only three percent of the population can run over three miles? It's a fact! In other words you'll stand tall…in a crowd. As the years go by your long run will become longer. You're not so tied down to transportation. For whatever emergency may come your way, you can always be the one who can run for help…if need be.

My last couple benefits you get for staying a runner year after year. If you like a flat stomach that's another benefit uncovered of runners! One last benefit for runners if your one to have problems with constipation; runners have a tendency to not have that problem any longer.
