The prostate gland may become infected by many organisms, including the one that causes gonorrhea. Infections elsewhere in the body may also be carried to the prostate gland through the bloodstream.
Sometimes the prostate may become inflamed simply by enlargement of the gland, or by excessive sexual activity. Truck drivers and heavy equipment operators are very prone to develop inflammation of the prostate.
Symptoms
There is usually frequency, urgency, and burning on urination, pain in the rectum, and slowness of urination with incomplete emptying of the bladder. Fever may be present.

This is one of the best remedies for prostate, kidney and bladder troubles. Especially useful for pain or burning during urination and for difficulty starting urination.
- Buchu:
It’s one of the best remedies for urinary organs. It’s very soothing and excellent for when there is pain while urinating or stoppage of the urine. When taken warm it helps reduce swelling of the prostate gland and soothes irritation of the lining membrane of the urethra.
