Can you start a home business? I'am sure most people have thought about it, and some of you have even given it a shot...well maybe that was before you found out that there is actually "Work" involved.

You see many people get involved in some type of home business with a "Lottery Mentality" thinking that I all I have to do is A..B..and...C..and "Woo-Hoo" I am in the money! then they wake up, Wow! I really have to do some work for this? And this is where people get confused about the definition of "Business" may it be a home based business or a coffee house you start the definition of "Business" as found in the Merriam-Webster online dictionary 8 a: serious activity requiring time and effort and usually the avoidance of distractions.

Like so many of us including myself I really did not get that at first. I thought that just by getting involved in some kind of business that I can do from home or open up some kind of store I would be a true success! Then I realized the definition of business as stated above. So no matter what kind of business you get involved in or start here are some key factors to look for especially in the home based business arena. 1.Someone you can trust, and someone that will truly help you to reach your goals 2.What knid of marketing is needed to successed, and make sure that you or anyone can duplicate it to have the same success.

And number 3.Make sure the company has long term goals and supports you and your team. And be sure that they are not offshore trying to fly low and out of sight from the government 4.Use the brain you where given! If someone tells you that you can get started for $20 bucks! and make thousands per month! think again my friend, that's not to say that there are not some great company's out there that only require a low cost to be a member and work your way up.

And number 5.Be sure you a passionate about what you are getting involved with, and can you or will you share it with others? I am not talking about your friends and family I am talking about other people who are looking to make a change in their life.

Whew! That was just some of the key factors to look for. I am sure their are more I can come up with and will add to this in the near future. Listen unless you are really willing to help other people be successful it will be hard. You must be willing to put others first only then will you see the success that you truly desire.
