I love living in a big home. However I used to live in a small home and the difference between the small home and big home is obvious. This article lists three things reasons why living in a big home has is better over a small home when looking things at the home organization's perspective.

More storage space

In most of the cases, the bigger the home is, the more the storage space it has. You don't have to fight over too small spaces for storing the essential items you need. Also, there is no need to stuff everything to a small space. All your items have more breathing room. The biggest benefit in my case is, that I'm able to store most of the stuff I have in the storage space that's inside my apartment. Sure, there is stuff in my basement too, but it's not so overstuffed of things since I have enough storage space inside my apartment.

More dedicated places for different types of items

Bigger home means also more possibilities of storing certain types of items in to a same dedicated place. You are able to group the similar items together to a same area so that they are easier to find. For example, because of this I'm able to store my sports gear in a certain space, so that whenever I use them, I know where to find them quickly.

More closet space for clothesAlthough I frequently take an inventory of my clothing and donate the ones I don't need, I still feel that enough closet space for clothing is a benefit when living in a big apartment. As a matter of fact, I still haven't utilized all the available space although I have been living in my current home for years now. Enough closet space means that you are able to group the clothing to different closets by usage. This makes the finding of them easier and faster when I know that a certain type of clothing is stored in a certain closet.
