Thoughts can be incredibly positive, like thoughts of love and appreciation. But thoughts run amok can be destructive.Unfortunately, most of harbor negative thoughts on a subconscious level that needle at us through the day.

So how can we reprogram ourselves?  Some of these thoughts and beliefs are deep-seated.  Can they be changed?

Indeed they can.  But the funny thing about reprogramming our beliefs is that they’re hidden.  We really don’t know what we’re going to be working on when we start on this journey.  For this reason,I’m a big advocate of having help from an expert.

They’ve been through the process and see more than we do at the beginning.

When I found my expert, I reprogrammed my thoughts easily andthe benefits have flowed toward me ever since.

Here are three keys that I learned at the start of my endeavors to reprogram my thoughts.

Reprogramming My Thoughts Key #1:  Notice When You Get Upset– Usually when we get upset, we go in reaction mode.  We’re off and running, thinking thoughts that are negative about a person, a situation, or ourselves.  This is a great time to stop and look at what those hidden negative thoughts are.  They always come out when we’re upset.

A great one for me used to be, “I have to do everything my self.  No one helps me.”  When I’d get upset about something, I’d often go back to this drama.  When I began to notice myself doing this, I stopped myself.  I actually changed my thinking by identifying my default thoughts and finding something else to think about.

Try it the next time you get upset, even if you’re just mildly upset.  You’ll find it is actually easy to change your thoughts.

Reprogramming My Thoughts Key #2:  Take On A Project– There’s nothing like taking on a project for driving up hidden beliefs.  At the beginning, you may notice that you have a difficult time getting started.  That’s a good opportunity to look at your limiting beliefs.  Continuing to uncover our limiting programming is powerful.  When we recognize what stops us, we’ve already gone a long way toward dislodging it.

Stay committed to taking action on your project and eventually, you’ll uncover huge limiting beliefs.  This takes some guts to get through, but you’ll be a much more powerful person for having continued on in the face of personal resistance.

Reprogramming My Thoughts Key #3:  Spend Time with Those Who Think Positively– Being around strong, powerful people who embody characteristics that you value is very helpful.  You start to absorb some of the good vibes they emit.

I love being around my friends who have a belief in themselves that they can handle anything that comes up.  I find that I further reprogram myself to be a “can-do” person when I see how confident they are in themselves.

These are just beginning steps, however. There are incredible experts that can guide you through this process.Give yourself the gift of a helping hand.
