Confidence

Confidence.
An old woman was going back home at midnight. While she was crossing a dark street,

she felt somebody coming up to her. Just then she addressed the man with her all

courage . ”This street is very dark, and I am too old to walk on it alone. Although my

house is near here, it is still difficult for me to go home by myself.”

The man accepted the old woman’s request and took her arm so they began to walk on

slowly. When they got to the old woman’s home, the old woman thanked the man for his

help. The man said; “No, madam, I want to thank you because when you asked

for my help, my purpose was to rob you, but you believed in me. It was the first time that

somebody has confided in me and asked me for help. You are the first person who

believed that I could help you.

I think this story is a good lesson for all of us. Most of the time we blame people for not

being truthful ,upright or honest. We only blame them, but nothing else. We never think about the reasons that make

them untruthful. We never think that maybe one of the reasons that makes them untruthful is our lack of belief

in them
So let’s believe and respect each other!
