Old Colony Elder Services Offers Free Resource GuideDATELINE: BROCKTON, MA… Old Colony Elder Services (OCES), one of 27 private, non-profit Aging Services Access Points (ASAPs) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is offering a complimentary resource guide to older adults and caregivers in the greater Brockton area. Old Colony Elder Services is part of Elder Education & Community Outreach (EECO), which is a collaborative effort of Brockton area health and human services organizations working together to address gaps in services for seniors and caregivers in the community. The group has compiled a complimentary Resource Guide for Older Adults and Caregivers in the greater Brockton area. EECO recognizes caring for a loved one as they age can be challenging and overwhelming for families. The goal of EECO is to increase public knowledge about programs and services available to elders and their caregivers enabling them to make the best possible choice in meeting individual needs. The guides are available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. The guide is also available to other local agencies.
