Old Colony Elderly Services Announces Monthly Support GroupsBeginning September 3rd, a support group for family caregivers will be held the first Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Comfort Keepers. Comfort Keepers is located at 37 Industrial Park Road in Plymouth. Rochelle Sugarman, Caregiver Specialist for the Family Caregiver Support Program at OCES, will co-facilitate the group. Another caregiver support group will meet the second Wednesday of every month, beginning September 10th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the Hanson Senior Center at 132 Maquan St. in Hanson. Nicole Welch, LCSW, Program Development Manager at OCES, will co-facilitate this group. The support groups are designed to provide caregivers with education and guidance as well as help them enhance their health and well-being while they manage caregiver responsibilities.
