Many people feel as though when they get married that good sex ends. This doesn't have to be true at all. When we get married we often fall into ruts because we know what works so we no longer have to be inventive. Just because we know what works and we don't have to work hard to please our partners doesn't mean that we shouldn't continue to change it up and keep it hot!

One thing you can do is buy a book on different sexual positions and try a new one out at least once a month. This will allow you to change things up, try out new things, and perfect one position before moving on before another. This doesn't mean that you can't do what you know works, but trying something new will have both of you looking forward to your next encounter, and will also make you appreciate the familiar sexual time that you do have.

Another great idea is to have one night where you decide that you are going to have sex like you just met. You could tell your spouse, "Make love to me like I am not your husband/wife" and you will be amazed and how that heats things up. Many times we just get really familiar with what works and when we say this it has our spouse and us thinking outside of the box, trying new things and really heating things up!

Don't make sex too predictable. Remember those quickies that you used to have when you first got together? Why not make them happen now? Even with kids you can make quickies happen and you will find that this can be quick, but also passionate and will light that sexual spark again! Quickie sex is often some of the best sex, so don't be afraid to be spontaneous as you'll both benefit from it!

Try role playing! Many times simple role playing tactics will spice things up in the bedroom. Many people go as far as pretending to meet one another in a restaurant and then pretend to go home together as strangers! This can be a lot of fun and will make you remember what it was like when you first met one another and even when you first started being intimate. You don't have to take role playing to this level, but it can be a lot of fun every once in again!

As you can see, having hot sex when you are married is easy! You can keep things hot and sexy without making them too predictable. There are going to be times where you just want that very familiar sex, but spice things up from time to time, you'll both benefit from the excitement!
