Depression - The Path to Loneliness

It is true: we live in a stressful society and our messy lifestyle is the one keeping us from living close to 100 years like our grandfathers used to live. There is probably not much we can do about this since our jobs and our way of living is going to keep us under constant pressure no matter what but beware of the risk of falling into depression because unlike anger or frustration, this is a hard mood to get over.

There are some things that you can do in order to get out of this awful state that basically keeps you tied to your bed, incapable of doing anything useful. You would be surprised as to how much a breath of fresh air can do to you so don't be afraid to take a walk in the park even if you are alone. Sports is great, not only for you physical state but also for your state of mind. Play soccer, tennis, swim, jog, do whatever sport you fancy best and you will notice your mood rising to a more positive state.

Make sure you get a good night sleep because you would be amazed to know the wonder it can do to your health and your mood. Don't waste your long hours into the night with meaningless activities: everyone needs their beauty sleep. Remember to socialize as much as you can. Call a friend, ask them to grab a coffee together and catch up on what's new.
