BrownMe.com Founder Chloe Othen Is Miss England Finalist

June 18th, 2010 – Today at 15:00hrs - Brown Me Ltd's Founder and now a back seat Managing Director / CEO Ms. Chloe Othen announced that she would be handing over internal controls after her Miss England finalist entry was confirmed. Brown Me Ltd has a consortium of business partners with the final decision making landing with the founder Chloe Othen to maintain her vision.

The Miss England Semi Final event took place on Monday 14th June in Champneys Health Spa, in Leicester. The Brown Me Founder was hoping she could secure her place in the Miss England final and that dream came true later in the day when current Miss England Katrina Hodge handed Chloe a rose supplied by . 16 from 58 were chosen from the semi finals making it a huge achievement for all that advanced.

Chloe Othen said"the event at Champneys was extremely well organised and my family who travelled with me were very happy. All the girls at the semi final were very friendly and very well looked after by the Miss England team. It was a pleasure to meet Kat Hodge after her fantastic year as Miss England. I didn't want to get too close to anyone as I knew how tough it would be for the girls that didn't make it. I am now shuffling my current duties around so that I can focus on becoming the next Miss England".

For those that have been fortunate enough to work with Chloe...all will understand how passionate she is about the BrownMe brand. Of course at the tender age of 19 having a majority share of a growing business which is still very much motivated by her ideas is a great achievement. Business acumen aside Chloe has huge potential to be a top class model. It is no secret that many London modelling agencies have been after her signature but with a keen eye on the Miss England crown nothing will tempt her away she confirmed.

If Chloe Othen is crowned Miss England, she would go on to represent England as our only entry at the 60th Miss World in Vietnam. Having been labelled suitably by some as 'Our English Rose' and under wrap sponsorship discussions being held, we hope Chloe will be in the final until the very end.

So how did Chloe get involved with Miss England? "Last year's visit to ‘Clothes Show Live' opened my eyes to a possible career in fashion after being spotted. I was chosen by Company Magazine to model an outfit on stage at the show. Being ‘spotted' has already given me many opportunities such as being chosen for a ‘Clothes Show' after party for up and coming designers. The runway event was held in Soho London and was a major step into the fashion world for me in terms of experience and contacts. I am a huge admirer of high fashion designers and creative flair. The Clothes Show also gave me the chance to enter Miss England which has been exciting from the very start. I will be returning to the Clothes Show London on the 27th June but this time as a Miss England finalist".

The grand finals of Miss England are being held on the 31st August and 1st September at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.

It was announced by the Miss England director "Angie Beasley" at the semi final that for the first time in 22 years , the Miss England competition will be back on TV and viewers will be able to watch the final on The Active Channel (Sky Channel 281) in September.
