Fifteen years ago in started to show interest in the home based business industry via the internet, not knowing anything about it or how it worked. I spent many of those years struggling and spending thousands of dollars that did nothing but bring me failure and a drained bank account.

I joined business opportunities that promised me success and fortune along with promises that my upline would be there for me to answer any of my questions and offer solutions to any and all problems I might  have, and all they brought me was frustration and failure. There are so many ads out there that promise you these things and it's hard to know what businesses work and which ones don't, especially when there is no one around to help and guide you.

I bought and read many e-books that are available along with the many business books that are out there. These books are a good guideline, but still they don't tell you which businesses are legitimate and which ones are scams.

I had finally had enough of people promising things that they weren't delivering on and I gave up on the online home based business industry. I just walked away from it, licked my wounds and never gave it another thought.

Then I bumped into a longtime friend that I haven't seen in years. We went out and had lunch together one day and got to talking about stuff in general. Then I asked him what he was doing to make a living and he replied, "I'm a online marketer." I asked him how that was working for him and he replied "It couldn't be any better." I looked at him in disbelieve and told him about my experiences with that.

He sat there and continued to tell me how successful he was with this and tried to talk me into getting involved with internet marketing again. I refused. I told him I had heard every promise and get rich scheme that was out there and I didn't want any part of it again.

After that day at lunch we kept in contact with one another and started to hang out together. I had kept in the back of my mind what all he told me that day at lunch about his home based business. After several months I asked him about it again and to explain to me if I got back in it what gaurantees can you make me that I will be successful at this. His reply was..."NONE" He followed that up by saying, "I will not gaurantee you anything, but I can show you how to market and put some extra money in your pocket."

He continued to tell me about the product he was marketing and the system he had in place to market it with. And he said the home based business he was telling me about was very team oriented. It all sounded good...But to no offense to my friend I had heard this all before.

So, after him telling me more about this I decided to give this (home based business) another shot and went ahead and joined. I did everything he showed me to do and by doing that and combined with the marketing system that was already in place...I was getting results. The money was starting to trickle in. It wasn't much but, I was tickled pink just to experience success through the internet.

Week after week the checks started to get a little bigger, and to this day the checks are continuing to roll in and I can now say I am successful with my home business.
