Do You Have the Vision for Your Success?

The Power of Vision -

Your mind is the most powerful tool you have. So why not use it to visualize the life of your dreams? Question: How many times is anything created? Twice, once in someone's mind, then again in reality. Before any building, car or house is built, a person is born, or a dream can be realized, it first has to be a thought in someone's mind. Pretty powerful I'd say!

What is your vision? What do you want more, better or different in your lifetime for yourself and others? What do you want to make happen? What miracles do you want to create? In 1, 5, 10 and 20 years, what is your vision for your health, wealth, faith and relationships?

Most of us have at least more than one thing we want out of life. If so, it would be nearly impossible to go through your day actively and consciously focusing on each one of them. Vision boards help to serve as a visual cue to remind us that we do have a vision of more than one goal or dream we are striving towards. They help to keep the subconscious mind working on the tasks at hand necessary for achievement, even when our conscious mind may be focused on other things or wander.

A vision board reflects your vision and keeps you focused on what you say you want to create in your lifetime. In my book,Time-Out! Winning Strategies for Playing a Bigger Game in Life, I share in more detail the value of this great tool.

Take a RISK action challenges:

Write out a list of at least 100 or more goals and dreams you'd like to experience before you pass on to the next life.

Get a poster board and fill it with pictures and words that look like and describe your goals and dreams. If you want to own a particular car, place a picture of that car on the board. If you want a happy and joyful family, put a picture of your family together with smiling faces. If you want to be thinner, use a picture of yourself from a time when you were thinner or find a picture of a body you like and put your face on it. If you want a promotion, cut out a picture of your new office, or mock up a new business card with your new title on it. If you want to travel to exotic places or start a mission in a third world nation, use magazines, family photos, the internet for pics, whatever you choose and fill the board with what you want out of life.

Once you've completed it, hang it in a place where you, friends and family will see it throughout the day. Make copies of it so you can have one at home and one at work. You can also take a picture of it and use it as a screensaver on your computer or cell phone.

Paint a mental picture of your goals and dreams exactly as you see it through your mind's eye. See in every detail, color, sights and sounds and then add it to a voice recorder. Use your imagination and record every detail as you see it. Do this today!

Listen to the recording daily in your car, on the train or bus, at home or at the office, and act as if you are living it. Act as if…..and one day you will wake up in the picture you've been visualizing! Take a time-out in your day as often as you can to think about your vision. Find a quiet place in your home, close your eyes and let the recording walk you through the visualization.

The key here is to remind your conscious and subconscious minds as often as possible of the goals and dreams to be achieved! Act as if it is so, even if it isn't so, so that it can be so and live your dreams!
