The Law of Repulsion

Exploring the Corollary to the Law of Attraction

A demonstration of what can be achieved when harmonically-aligned brain cells converge upon the quantum sweet spot. An exploration of the tunnel at the end of the light.

Like Attracts Like?

Well this comes as something of a surprise, given what we know of magnetism and the other adage "Like things repel"? It is often true that simple premises are as true as their opposites. e.g.. "We are all unique." vs "We are all the same." So truth abounds in contradictions and it is to the extent that you extract context that gives each validity in its moment. Thus the much espoused "Law of Attraction", should sit well with its black-sheep half-brother, the "Law of Repulsion".

If we can turn our mind from fighting these so-called contradictions, we can then bathe in the yin/yang chemistry (harmonic compatibility) of the two extremes. At the end of the day, each is merely a mnemonic for a compatible world view.

People who like constraints can choose from either, knowing their actions will be influenced by the choice they adhere to. Others who would tread nearer the cliff edge of reason can take the cream from each. The destination is not the issue, for, as Don Mclean once said "All roads lead to where we stand". So toss a coin and if you don't like how it lands toss it again until you do. The road less travelled is but one choice amongst many. (Apologies to M. Scott Peck)

Why Repulsion?

As surely as the waves ebb and flow, as the seasons swing back and forth, so for every paradigm, there is an equal and opposing paradigm. And the Law of Repulsion both negates and complements its lofty new age partner. So while you sit in your lotus position, attracting that which you hold most dear, the Law of Repulsion works to repel the very same, from its current owners. The game play is identical, the only thing that has changed is the mechanism by which stuff is moved.

In each case the energy and matter are relocated, on the one hand by pulling, on the other by pushing. The mechanism is of little import, since it is merely 'at our disposal'. So whether we talk "like attracts like" or "like repels like" is of little consequence; the main point is to get that which we want to move towards us, and that which we don't to move away from us. The notion that the universe gives us what we think of (whether we like it or not) is a religious annotation used to minimize confusion in the easily-converted. The universe is bigger that all that, but will dumb down for you if you need it to.

Participation

As far as the universe is concerned, we are all in the same room, being one with it and all that. However the sameness/uniqueness has a part to play in keeping us united and independent all at once. What you do to others you do to your self and vice versa. However, the art of the thing is that we can live independently and have faith that our independent efforts (guided by hints of the universe) will achieve the best for others in the end. This is more about faith than anything else. The universe has the big picture, ours is small. So let the universe manage that through us, rather than create more philosophical dross coming up with your own big picture.

You may modify your way of life with the goal of making the world a better place, but it would be much better if you made yourself a better inhabitant, by becoming whom you were crafted to be.

Benefits

Why participate? There will come a time when you can't. When time catches up with you in a way it cannot catch up with the universe. Different time zones and all that. And yesterday is currently irreparable by existing quantum mechanisms. Time is the author of regret. That is its most famous work. There are lesser known pieces which I would encourage you to read.

Requirements

It is important that you are not afraid of change, that you have (or have had) a dream, that you embrace your limitations for the unique perspective they give you, that you hold nothing, either on earth or in your head, as eternal.

We cannot get (Law of Attraction) while there are things that we are unwilling to let go of (Law of Repulsion). We cannot see what is ahead of us, if our eyes are fixed on what is behind us. We cannot fill a cup until we empty it first.
