This is not since we are incable, rather that we can't know a large amount about how weight loss actually occurs. We are fed rather a lot of wrong information, various of those who believe that they are doing everything right, may in fact be doing the wrong thing and that's why they can't see results. One of the biggest weight loss misconceptions is this whole idea that 'eating fat makes you fat'. I can tell you now that a good for your health consumption of fat has very little effect on weight. To really understand this you call for to understand how weight gain occurs. How does weight gain occur? Weight loss and gain is every about carbohydrate consumption. Obviously there are other factors since well but this is the main one. The energy from a carbohydrate source is broken down into a form of sugar known since glucose, or blood sugar. This glucose is absorbed into the blood stream through the digestive tract and is used to fuel our activities. Complications accure when there is too a lot of this glucose in the blood. This stimulates the release of a hormone from the pancreas called insulin. What insulin does is rid this excess glucose from the blood by storing it away. Some of the glucose is turned into glycogen, which is stored in the liver and muscles. The rest is stored because fat. What causes high blood sugar levels? Blood sugar levels are all about carbohydrate energy. As a result the big issue here is the quality of a carbohydrate source, you may or may not know about the 2 different types of carbs. There are complex carbohydrates, which are slowly released and simple carbohydrates, wich are hastily released. It's this fast releasing energy that forms the problem. When carbohydrate energy is released too swiftly that is when you get a rush in glucose and a spike in your blood sugar levels. These sort of foods put in processed foods, bakery foods and sweetened foods. It is the continuous consumption of these that lead to speedy weight gain. |
