Regular Exercise Necessary to Lower High Blood Pressure

Regular exercise is needed by our body to keep it healthy and strong. What is necessary in exercise are persistence and discipline. Regular exercise, the same as physical exercise, has a lot of benefits like maintaining us fit and in shape, builds new cells in the brain, makes a person happier free from any illness, helps in the functioning of our digestive system and makes us look younger.
Regular exercise keeps us mentally fit as new brain cells are built and blood flow is smoother to the brain thereby giving it more oxygen and helping the heart to function well. There is a saying which says that "a healthy body makes a healthy heart." This is true when a person does a regular exercise.

A person who is depressed, pressured or stressed can be made happier with regular exercise. Our body needs at least 20 minutes of physical exercise at least three times in a week. There are lots of physical exercise that you can do- walking, strolling, jogging, bicycling, swimming, playing sports activities, gardening, deep breathing, yoga and meditation. Doing any of these makes our muscles function well and blood to circulate smoothly to the heart.
Another benefit that we could get from a regular exercise is to help our digestive system function smoothly and regularly. Like our body, our digestive system needs physical exercise so that our food intake can normally pass through it thereby protecting us from any sickness.

Moreover, regular exercise can make us younger than our age. Through exercise, our skin can have a youthful appearance since there is good circulation of blood brought about by the exercise and essential nutrients are given to our skin.
Regular exercise has the following components; namely, intensity, frequency and duration. Intensity is necessary in doing physical exercise in order to gain whatever benefits it could give us. Moderate intensity is required for the reason that the results might not be the desired results if the exercise is too light and more risky if done too intensely.

It is necessary that the duration of the exercise must be for twenty to thirty minutes and do it three to five times in a week. Good results can be expected if this is the duration and frequency of the physical exercise.

To get full and desired results, diet is also important. These two combined together achieve your desire of being fit, healthy and with a longer life. Eating a lot of vegetables and fruits, grains, low-fat dairy, lean meat and drinking a lot of water are what the body needs in addition to physical exercise. In such a case, you can achieve the maximum benefit this method could give.
Regular exercise requires more movement from your body parts and as such helps in the smooth functioning not only of the heart but the circulatory system and the digestive system as well. Lungs require more air so that breathing is proper. Blood needs to circulate smoothly for the heart to release more oxygen and beat more quickly. All these are the good results when you do regular exercise.
