Does The Father's Sperm Or Genes Determine The gender Or Sex Of The Baby?

I have a couple of blogs that cover natural gender selection.  One common question that I often get is "does the male or father determine the sex of the baby?" The answer to this question is both yes and no.  The father to be does provide the sperm which ultimately determines sex.  But the mother has a role to play also.I'll explain why in this article.

What (And Who) Determines The Sex Or Gender Of The Baby? (Hint: It's Not Only The Father Or Luck:)Obviously, it takes two adults to conceive a baby, but the baby's sex is determined by the male or the father – to – be's sperm chromosomes.  In male sperm, there are both X and Y chromosomes.  If the X sperm reaches and fertilizes the woman's egg first, then the baby will be girl.  If the Y sperm is victorious, then the the baby turns out as a boy.  Obviously, the male or father provides the sperm, but whether male or female producing sperm ultimately fertilize the egg is out of his direct control.

However, there are several things that you can do to influence who wins this race.  But, this all stems from how the X and Y sperm behave differently.  The male producing sperm are fast, but weak.  The sperm that will get you a daughter is slow, but extremely strong.  There are ways that you can use these unique behaviors to yours advantage, depending on which gender you want.

How Timing From The Mother Helps To Determine The Sex Of Your Baby:Since the Y sperm are weak, if you want a girl baby, one way to exploit this is to conceive three days before you ovulate.  This is enough time to get the Y sperm out of the vaginal tract before the egg is fertilized and conception takes place.

On the flip side, if you want a male baby, you need to conceive the day of your egg being ready, because any earlier than this will leave the risk of the Y sperm starting to weaken, deteriorate or die off before they even have a chance to show off their speed in the race to the egg.

How Sexual Intercourse Positions Influences Your Baby's Gender:Now that we understand the differences between the chromosomes, we know that we can use these to create a better journey for the gender we want.  Knowing this, intercourse positions is another tool that we can use to accomplish this goal.  If your goal is a son, you want to give these little guys the quickest trip possible to help minimize their vulnerability.  Deep penetration positions best accomplish this.

For couples who want a girl, shallow penetration will give the male producing sperm a long trip which will be difficult (time wise) for them to survive.

How The Mother's PH And Acidity Fits Into Your Baby's Gender:So, speaking of the trip to the egg, we also need to address the environment that the sperm will encounter when it enters your vaginal tract.  If you want a girl baby, you want to make this environment as highly acidic as you possibly can because this will ensure the boy sperm starts to break down as soon as possible.

But, if you want a boy, you'll want to alkalize your body so that your PH is neutral to the little guys who are trying so hard to reach the egg.  Of all of these steps, this is the one that confuses the most people, but it doesn't have to.  You can test your PH using acidity / PH testers.  In just a few minutes, you will know where you read and can then make adjustments to raise or lower your PH, depending on which gender you are trying for.

You can alter this through your diet or through douching.  Using both methods is more effective and quicker.  But, if you are diligent, you can achieve your perfect PH with just one of these. Don't forget the other considerations as well.  If you incorporate all of these into your conception regimen, it's said that you can raise your odds of getting the gender you want to one that is as high as over ninety percent.

I've put together a few websites that take a lot of the guess work out of choosing your baby's gender. You'll find step by step instructions, resources, tips, support, and examples of ovulation predictors / PH testing strips.
