To quote; Franklin D. Roosevelt
"Nothing to fear but fear itself."
Who isn’t familiar with the term fear.
To quote; wikipedia
"Fear is an emotional response to tangible and realistic dangers. Fear should be distinguished from anxiety, an emotion that often arises out of proportion to the actual threat or danger involved, and can be subjectively experienced without any specific attention to the threatening object"
What is fear? Seriously, think about it. Is it the fear of the object? or the process of getting to that object?
Let’s say… I know quite a few of my friends who had the fear of cockroaches. But when asked why, nobody could give a definite answer related to it. It’s all bits and pieces of their imagination doing the things for them. Or should I say, adding the pressure of fear on them.
"Cockroach can fly,"
Lots of other things fly too.
"Cockroach are disgusting creatures."
Seriously our hands have been to more disgusting places, you just need to wash or wipe it.
Ya… Then the mind starts running, what if it flew to my hair, what if… what if…. Lots of what ifs… going around in their minds.
Okay, that’s just the opening to get the idea of fear.
How many of you out there, laugh at an ostrich who hid its head in the ground, to escape from danger. For an ostrich, what it does not see, could not hurt it.
Now, let’s let you laugh a bit… How dumb an ostrich is.
So how many of you have the fear of the "dark"? the fear of "ghost"?
So what do you do? Hide under the blanket? woOooOoo nice one.
So, its either, Ostrich dumb? Ghost dumber? or… you dumbest too?
Dum dum wants gum gum.
Well let’s not let me get cocky and all…
I used to FEAR EVERYTHING. I used to be afraid of being alone.
Till… the day I found out that… The best way to conquer fear, is facing it, approach it, and get it over with.
Fear, it appears in more ways then one in our life… The fear to speak out, the fear to not be heard, the fear to being alone, the fear… of life, of death. Nearly everything has a fear attached to it.
Without fear, we’re just a lump of flesh, with basically no emotions.
Without fear, there’s no fear of losing. Without the fear of losing, we lost the desires of winning. Winning does not simply means to win… but it means that, we gave up basically on everything…
Without fear, there won’t be faith. Without fear, there won’t be courage.
Live with fear, for it makes us grow and believe.
"Nothing to fear but fear itself"
Fear the fear.
