Comparative Study between the Bible versus the Quran (39) - B: The second part
(Chapter 39:1-10)

The Old Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Joseph was a prosperous man. His master's wife wanted to make love with him but he refused.
The New Testament Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus took an ass and went to Jerusalem riding that ass which is not His. It is hard to believe in this story because of many reasons!
The Noble Quran Verses from 1-10 are talking about The Quran, the revealed Noble Book, the disbelievers, the believers, if you disbelieve, Allah is rich, independent of you, the creation of the heavens and the earth, what if Allah had desired to take a son and some scientific issues (see: C: The third part)

New Testament

Chapter 39 in the New Testament is Mark 11; it is composed of 33 verses.
Verses from 1-10 are talking about Jesus took an ass and went to Jerusalem riding that ass which is not His. According to the Law, Jesus was not allowed to take an ass that is not His. Jesus respected the law very much. That is why; it is hard to believe in this story. Also, if the Jewish Priests knew this story, they would have made a big problem; those priests were looking for anything to make problem with Jesus. In addition, why Jesus did not CREATE (if He is God) an ass instead of taking one that is not His? And what is the wisdom of that story?

Mark 11 (King James Version)

1] And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
2] And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
3] And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
4] And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
5] And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
6] And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
7] And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
8] And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9] And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
10] Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
