A Deeper Rabbit Hole

We are no longer in Kansas Dorothy. How do I KNOW this? Well, I lived in Topeka, Kansas for nearly two decades, but I digress! I was using a metaphor which is how much of the Bible has been put together. The use of metaphors is about as good as we can get when it comes to describing God since no words really do the subject justice.

I guess I am really not surprised that so many Christians prefer a literal- no thinking approach to God and the Bible.

The GOOD NEWS in addition to the fact that the GOOD NEWS is GOOD NEWS is that the GOOD NEWS is gaining ground and the literal and eternal hell is losing ground: along with a whole lot of other mythological Bible stories that once upon a time were deemed factual. We have a stronger a fortiori argument to embrace than to somehow make a difficult case with the literal approach to all things Bible.

The divine light and seed within us just needs to be embraced!

Jesus simply said FOLLOW ME, or do as I do, and not as your religious leaders tell you to do: and that which they themselves don't do might I add. The esoteric rabbit hole is deep and dark indeed; however, that's where you faith is built, where character is fashioned, and where reality is found. In today's world, life is too short and too serious for us to be playing religious games and falling back on what we were taught decades ago simply because we are either too lazy to dig deeper or because we're afraid what's deeper in that dark rabbit hole.

Hey, what if an enlightened consciousness was just a few more feet deeper?
