When are things going to change?

We ask this not only of God, we ask this of ourselves.

When are things going to change, please someone tell me, when are things going to change?

Folks, it seems that we as a world, we of our many diverse societies, are so busy asking this question, that we have failed in seeing the answer that is right there in front of our eyes, both religiouslyandscientifically.

You see, we have failed to realize thatthings are changing! Always has been and always will.

We religiously delve into the Word of God, seeking answers.

Folks, The Book of Revelationtells you,what Gods answer is.

God said in so many words thatthere will bewars and rumors of wars,there will bepestilences,there will beplagues,there will begreat earthquakes,there will begreat storms, mountainswillfall, islandswillsink, great ruin and devastation.

I guess it's God's way of saying that this is His threshing floor, the separation of the wheat from the chaff, the burning of the tares.

The surviving remnants inhabit the new earth under a new heaven.

Things are changing folks,

All around us

Things are religiously changing.

Scientifically, looking at it, well…

Haven't scientist from all around the world for many years now been screaming the same thing about what has been going on around us.

Wars, and rumors of wars, pestilences, plagues, great earthquakes, mountains falling, islands sinking, polar shifts, continental plates shifting, a world of great ruin and devastation, new lands forming, old lands vanishing.

Now I know many good Christian folks are in the belief that we as true believers in God will not be around when these trials and tribulations listed in the book of Revelations comes to pass.

As a Christian myself, I beg to differ with this line of reasoning, ( but to each their own belief ) But as I read it in Revelations 1:1 - 20:5 Christians on this earth will go through these trials and tribulations, Gods way of testing our true metal so to speak.

Scientifically. Well, we may not all die, there may be survivors, after all the transitions this earth is going through and is going to go through.

Either way, changes all around us are happening, all going towards the same end, a new earth under a new heaven.

So many different cultures, of all nations, of all peoples, proclaim this, Christian, and Non-Christian alike

Yet, we as a people, from no matter what school of thought we come from, blind ourselves to it, we try to put a band-aid on a wide open wound that we have made, whether it's this rift we have caused between us and God or in trying to heal a very wounded land.

Changes are going on around us, a whirlpool of actions and reactions, spiraling downwards toward the same end.

Changes are going on all around us,

Whether it's the wrath of God or the wrath of Nature, who cares! Both are saying the same thing. Changes are going to sweep over our lands, and mountains will rise and fall.

Gods earth -- Mans earth,

It matters not.

We know it's coming,

We see it coming,

Question is

Are we prepared?

Are we preparing?

As a society?

As a nation?

As a world?

As a Church?

Are we really prepared for this?

‘Cause I really don't think so.

Our animosity towards one another on whatever level, says different.

Yet,

Still we pray,

When are things going to change Lord?
