When you purchase 1 bottle of 7 Day Acne Detox, you will receive a 2-weeks supply (14 days) of this "miracle" acne cure supplement.  However, the manufacturers website recommends purchasing 4-5 bottles to "achieve perfect skin."  So my very first question is, why on earth is this product called 7 DAY acne detox, when really it takes up to 3 months to actually see results?  This is a serious red flag.  Its not a miracle cure, it will take much longer than 7 days, and at $50 per bottle you are looking at a serious investment.

How do these supplements work to cure acne exactly?  Well the first 2, apple cider vinegar and lemon, are both strong anti-bacterial agents and have been used for years as a natural home remedy for acne.  This sounds promising right?  The only problem is that when fighting acne, these liquids are usedtopically, meaning applied directly to the affected area.  There has been no research done on whether or not ingesting an anti-bacterial agent like lemon or apple cider can have any sort of effect on acne whatsoever.

MSM is a nutrient that our body's naturally produce and can be found in some foods.  Its said that MSM supplements can reduce inflammation and create that "healthy glow."  MSM can be purchased at the store as a supplement for acne cure, and should be taken daily in a dose of 2,000mg for best results.  How many mg are provided in 7 Day Acne Detox?  175mg.  This is not near enough to see any sort of benefits from MSM.

Conclusion:

I don't doubt that this supplement could have a positive effect on your skin.  Its filled with ingredients that increase healing speed, reduce inflammation, help with digestion, aid the liver in filtering toxins, and are known to create a "healthy glow."  However, because the amount of any one ingredient within this supplement is so low, it will take much more than just one week to see any benefit.  Plus, $50 for an herbal supplement is way too much.  These pills will get you started on one aspect of your acne treatment plan though, treating your acne from the inside.  After purchasing these pills you will still need a good cleanser and repairing lotion if you want to permanently cure your acne.  So if you are ready to shell out a big chunk of money, go for it!  But for the same price you can get a treatment plan that addresses every angle of acne treatment.
