Shadow WorkNo, I'm not talking about your shadow that you see on the ground when the sun is out, I'm talking about the shadows that you feed on a daily basis or even the shadows that you have hidden away in the depths of your subconscious. Shadows? Shadows what? Shadows who? You ask. Shadows are the blocks that keep you from living your life to the fullest extent. In order for you to have balance in your life, overcome your obstacles, and achieve your dreams you have to clear away the hidden blocks. You have to remove the shadows that linger. You have to chase them down and tell them to ‘Be Gone!' This is a MAJOR part of blossoming; and one of the KEY elements to evolving and transforming. You can do any kind of self-help program you want; but if you haven't uncovered your shadows and conquered them, you will still be stuck in the same place. Period. So what the heck are shadows? Shadows come in the form of resentment, anger, fear, greed, hostility, weakness, judgments, selfishness, evilness, vindictiveness, jealousy, ugliness, and so forth. Your shadows want to keep you hindered; they want to keep you from succeeding. In order for you to find your purpose and truly be happy, you have to confront your shadows and defeat them. You have to clear your mind of negativity – mentally and emotionally. You have to get right within yourself. The fears and the counterproductive attitudes are keeping you tied and bound. Are you ready to be released? Are you ready to be free? If you want more out of life, you can't be afraid to confront your shadows. When you confront them and make peace with them, you will find the happiness and fulfillment that you desire and that you so desperately crave. You will be enlightened and empowered. Once you choose to accept that you have a shadow or two or three and you choose to confront them, then you must do it. If you choose to not accept that have a shadow, then you choose to continue to live your life on the path that you are on – the path of hurt, the path of discouragement, the path of unhappiness, the path of despair. That path sucks. Don't you want better for yourself? I know you do. I want that for you. |
