Sleep aides will put you to sleep, at least when you first start taking them. But there are a number of side effects. Sleeping pills cut down on the amount of brain cell activity. What does this do? Sleep assistance have also contributed to some people sleepwalking and even taking part in activities like driving their car! (And yes, you can get cited for driving under the influence if this happens). The final problem with sleep aides is that they do not cure insomnia.
