There's really no doubt that we all at one time or another have faced stress. Stress comes in many types and can affect us in many ways especially in the fast pace environment that we live in today. I too work in a fast pace environment and understand the different types of stress that come my way. Different people handle stress differently in many ways. What may work for you may not work for another person and vice versa. The most important thing however to free ourselves from stress is to understand stress itself. Why? Its because many things emotional and physical indicators or symptoms are linked to stress and what we do not know can hurt us!!
Stress can have both good and bad effects to oneself. The positive effects of stress prepares and pushes your body systems to become more attentive and lively. Negative effects of stress could lead to many far reaching influences like feelings of anger, rejection and even depression.
One needs to identify with the signals that your body sends out. Under extreme levels of stress, warning signals in various forms are emitted from your body. It could be in many forms like body aches, aching muscles, stomach upsets dizziness, sleeplessness and many more. These may require immediate attention as it could lead on to illness or fatal outcome.
Most of the time, we relate stress to the negative effects that affects us as most people under stress tend to have misunderstandings and arguments with colleagues, friends and even family members and if this is not quickly identified could lead also to violent attacks and push the person to becoming a reclusive. And if these are still not recognize, the person could even land up in hospital and could even require psychological treatments providing it is not late.
Though many good and happy things happen in our daily lives, these things also do change our lives altogether. And the changes could in health, loneliness, demise of a love one, divorce, money, sex, losing a job and many more which could cause stress. Remember to keep a look out for any signals that could be detrimental to one's health or state of mind.
Hence understanding stress is important and it is from understanding we can then start reduce the stress level or even eradicate stress itself!!!
