Who plans your time for you?  Do you really plan your time daily?  Or you let life takes you wherever it wants to?

Time management is a skill needed for all the successful professionals. People who manage their time properly are the most achievers and most successful in business, arts, sports, and all other fields. Many people go through their day, not accomplishing much because they wait until they feel like doing what they want to do. In other words, such people wait for their mood to change. Their thoughts control them instead of they control their thoughts.  You can't achieve your goals if you don'tmanage your timeproperly.

Below you will find a list of how to manage your time properly:

1. Identify and eliminate the time wasters-

Do you know people who spend half an hour thinking about what they are going to eat for lunch or supper? Do you know people who spend the majority of their time thinking about past events or future events instead of thinking about present time? We all know such people. You have to identify the time wasters and then eliminate them from your life. For example, instead of spending half an hour thinking about what you want to eat, spend 5 minutes only. If you check your email every hour, then start by checking your email once or twice a day. If you watch 3 hour television, then watch half an hour instead. Identify and eliminate the time wasters now and concentrate on doing tasks that will help you accomplish your goal.

2. Divide your time for the week-

Make to do list for the week and write down everything you want to accomplish during the week. You can divide your daily hours in parts and write what you want to accomplish in each part. Make sure you know what you want to accomplish for each day of the week and don't get side tracked. Think of the end result and how happy you will be when you accomplish your goals and desires.

Time management might take time at first, but over time you will spend less time on time management as it becomes second nature. When you learn how to manage your time properly, you are ensuring the focus on your mission. You will also learn to assess your progress periodically. Always ask yourself the following questions:

A) What did I achieve and how did I achieve it?

B) What are the challenges I have to overcome?

C) What have I learned from the pervious week?

The benefits of time management are humongous. By managing your time properly, you take control of your life. When you plan your time, your time will be ordered. Also, by managing your time, you will be closer to achieving your goals.
