Maximize Your Time As A Way To Succeed In Time Management

Some people seem to be able to get so much done with their time while others struggle to get everything done.  While no one's schedule is the exact same, those who practice time management techniques can get a bit ahead on their work load.  There are many different techniques but one is to always have something to do at all times.

No one can plan the down times during a day.  You might get stuck waiting in a long line.  Your oil change might take much longer than expected.  There are many different reasons you might be delayed.  These will happen but you aren't sure when they will happen.  This is why having something to do at all times can help you become a more productive person.

Keeping that one thing with your person at all times will maximize this down time.

What can some of these things be?

You can carry a book with you to read.

Put audios to listen to on your phone or mp3 player.

Have a stack of twenty or so Thank You notes that you could write while waiting.

Get a smart phone so that you can write and respond to email or even surf the internet.

Have a page in your pocket with lines from something you are trying to commit to memory.

Write down and plan your short term and long term goals.

If you get creative it's easy to have something with you that will take up time that can quickly be started and stopped. Instead of growing frustrated during these moments, just start on the thing you have with you and focus on that.
