Did you use time management today?Time management has been a concern for me and I am sure for many of you out there, after setting your goals. At the end of the week, can you account for what you did? A little here, a little there and before you know it, you have not taken the massive action needed to meet your goals. Before changing how I handled this problem, I would lay out a guide as to what I needed to do during the week or month, for example, however, I found out that I got distracted very easily. Every day, the first thing I would do, was to log into my e-mail. I would go to my inbox and before I knew it, I had spent hours going through e-mails. By the time I was ready to get to work, I had little or no energy left. Using recommendations from my mentors (who were all saying the same thing), I am now using a simple system, which has helped me greatly. As long as I stick with this system, I can effectively manage my time.
That's it! Just these 2 simple steps have helped me greatly and I know they will do the same for you if you apply them in your lives. What about you? How do you effectively manage your time? For more tips go to timemanagement or visit my blog DyllisNicol |
