Master Your PC to Accelerate Your Productivity and Save Time

If you want to boost your productivity, it's important to be efficient at using your computer.  The more familiar you are with your computer, the faster it'll take you to perform tasks.

For instance, if you need to perform a task such as how to open your web browser, but you don't know how, it's going to take you a lot longer to get to a Web site.  And since this task is done many times throughout the day, not being familiar with how to open a Web browser will cost you a lot of time.

But if you know how to open a Web browser and know how to use it, you can perform the task of visiting a Web site in seconds.

That example is a bit exaggerated because you probably know how to open a Web browser easily (at least I hope you do).  But what if you have more complicated problems with your computer?  For instance, what if you suddenly find that some of your programs aren't working?

Calling in a technician to fix your computer every time it has a problem is time consuming.  And it's costly.  But if you're familiar with your computer, you can fix it within hours or minutes.

Some problems can be solved by restarting your computer.  Changing the settings in your Control Panel (if you use Windows) might fix the problem.  Or installing a patch to upgrade your software could be the solution.  What if your Internet connection stopped working?  The problem may be caused by your router.

If you have at least a basic familiarity of computers, you can use your computer more productively.  And you can quickly solve any computer problems that come your way.
