Choosing Your Wedding / Event Venues

1.BUDGET

  • ALWAYS set a budget for the wedding / event venue, and try to stay within the budget you have set.  Once the budget is decided, it will be easier to look for a weeding / event venue that you will love.

2.RESEARCH

  • Upon my own research, I have found an amazing website that will help you through this part of planning, .  This website lists the wedding / event venues by the city of your choice.  It also includes, the booking restrictions, amenities, features and nearby hotel ratings.  There are also a few reviews for you to look through, depending on the wedding / event venue you have chosen.  You are also able to check the availability of the wedding / event venue to your occasion right there online. Write a list of any questions you have, this will help in tip #3.

3.VISIT

  • Once you have narrowed down your wedding / event venue. You MUST go out to each one and visit them. Talk to the host/hostess with any questions, comments that you wrote down in tip #2.

4.ADDITIONAL SERVICES

  • Was anything extra included with the particular wedding / even venue that you chose? For instance: Catering, entertainment, beverages.  If not, you will need to get those on your own. Make sure again that there is no restrictions in bringing your own caterers, entertainment or beverages.  If this is included in the wedding / event venue, always make an appointment to taste the food, you want the food to be up to standards.  If the food is good, guests will be satisfied.

Always make sure when choosing your wedding / event venue, you know exactly what is included, any restrictions. You do not want any surprises on your wedding day.  Make sure to read the contract fully.  Once you are satisfied with everything it is your turn to sign the deal.
