Invitations: Go online and pick out colors that match your wedding, write your own invitation with wording and text that reflects your personality. While it is traditional to use an italic font and formal wording, is that really your style? Make it fun and personalized, it is in fact your day!

Memory Books: Create a scrapbook type guest book where you can take Polaroid Pictures of your guests and have them write a special memory to the bride and the groom. On the cover of the scrapbook, put a picture of you and your fiance and make the scrapbook in your wedding colors.

Wedding ProgramsIf you are having a summer, outdoor wedding, then it will probably be hot. A great way to cool your guests down is with hand fans that can also double as your program. Just buy a heavy card stock and get paint stirrers from your local hardware store, spray paint them and put the program on the stirrers. Multiple uses for a program!

Aisle Decorations- While flowers are beautiful, why not have decorations that you can useonce the ceremony is over. Find large flower pots and spray paint them white and then stencil on your first initials in a fun font. You can then use the pots in your garden at home. Just Pots? You ask. No, in the pots, put pictures of you and your fiance from baby to adult hood on posts and stick them in the pots. You don't have to put them on every row but stagger them down the aisle. It's a nice memory for guests who have known you at different stages of your life.

Table Decorations- Again, flowers are nice, but if you want to personalize your wedding and save money on flowers that honestly are going to die. Then continue the idea of using pictures from you and your fiance's past and stick them in nice vases. You can also put the table numbers on the pictures as well so that people can find where they are sitting. Another way to help people find their seats is with seating cards that have the same picture on the card as the one that will be at their table.

Cake Toppers- Instead of the traditional bride and groom statue on top of the cake, find sterling silver initials for you and your spouse's names and stick them into your cake. It is something that you could use over again in anniversary cakes or any special occasion.

Favors:Do something unique and memorable. Find a bakery that can put your engagement photo on a cookie that you can hand out to your guests as they leave your reception. This is a great favor that they will actually be able to enjoy but also remember where they got it!
