The fact-file for this political capital of India is the best as far as the worst is concerned. After all, being crowned with the unrivalled glory of Rape-Capital of India is No Child’s Play! The root-cause; however for this insecurity quotient is very complex.…..

I won’t go here bashing politicians & lack of state regulation & accountability, since I think that isn’t the problem. The problem is more about our mind-set; the way we Delhiites see things; the level of moral-bankruptcy which we so proudly flaunt.

One thing is sure, if you start meeting more & more people who are in love with their fancy objects & use people, instead of the opposite (love people & use objects), then it’s a symbolic indication that something is terribly wrong with the collective conscious, the belief-system of people living in an area. & unfortunately that is the condition, here in DELHI!!!

Moreover, this is what will always happen in a city that is full of non-deserving Richies!!! If you get what you want without realizing its worth, you acquire the illness-curse that every being, just like things is up for sale; up for grabs!!! Just because your father owns an illegal small-scale factory in a residential area, or because you are blessed with ancestry’s fortune-yielding lands, doesn’t mean that you own the City & all its inhabitants.

The recent NCR (Noida) incident proved that the problem is a lot worse than what we think!!! Decently-educated men gang raping a girl is an eye-opener testimony that we as a society score a perfect Duck on the moral index of living, the worst in the history of mankind evolution. It affirms the fact that rote-education can never give you a sense of right & wrong; it can never broaden up the mind-set & that is so very unfortunate.
