Clogs fashin tends for spring/summer 2010

When it comes to shoes, 2010 is all about clogs and wedges. Everyone from Mary-Kate Olsen to Alexa Chung is wearing this shoe and they come in many different shapes and heights! These shoes are not the most elegant or sexy like christian louboutin shoes , simple and feminine shoes you've ever seen, so make sure that the rest of your outfit is.

I'm always amazed when clogs resurface as a fashion trend. Noisy, uncomfortable, clunky—clogs are downright ugly if you look at them for more than a second. They're an affront to any finely trained gait and make women walk like donkeys instead of thoroughbreds.

The chic woman, who follows trends and loves to show off her legs could easily pair a pair of clogs with denim shorts and look fabulous!Clogs have had a complete image overhaul, as a result of many designers, including the likes of Chanel, D&G, Kurt Geiger and Christian Louboutin, adopting them on the catwalk walks at the beginning of the year.

Wooden clogs have been officially stripped of there association with Scandinavian milk maids and more recently the practical yet rather unflattering, rubber ones worn by nurses. They are soon to be the most sort after item of footwear and like any savvy follower of fashion, you know that to get a head, you want to get a pair first.

Most styles can be worn with floral 70's inspired dresses that are soon to be big in fashion soon also. Wooden and leather, or suede pastel shades will all go equally well with the light flowey dresses.

Clogs will also go well with denim shorts, whether they be dark indigo or stone wash.

Skinny jeans will be out and larger bottomed jeans will be in to accommodate the heavier clogs.

And although skinny jeans are on the way out, leggings most definately are not so don't put them at the back of the wardrobe just yet, team them under skirts or dresses with clogs, like the models in the catwalks have for a modern edge, to the look.
