Couple Of Tips To Keep Yourself Looking Young And Healthy! Many of us find ourselves slowing down a bit as the years keep on coming. Before we know it we're sitting in our slippers at home with a furrowed brow desperately trying to work out the answer to the crossword in the newspaper, which we know we would've raced through 5-10 years ago. It can be very frustrating for many people and even lead to people becoming really down, feeling like they are losing their youth and won't be able to enjoy the better things in life anymore. Now this may seem slightly exaggerated, and for the most part it is just a minor annoyance that quite a few people probably don't even notice, however without making some changes in your lifestyle it can lead to much more severe problems later in life. There are a number of different things one can do to slow down the aging process of the mind, in fact, as the brain is continually developing and making new brain cells there is absolutely no reason why people shouldn't continue developing their mental capabilities well into their old age. One very easy step to take is to make sure you drink enough water and keep your mind and body really well hydrated. Obviously water is vital for the body, and without regular intake of it our body seriously begins to suffer. Humans are only capable of surviving for up to 4 days without water, and don't expect to be looking lively for the last 3 of those days! Dehydration can seriously affect productivity and concentration levels aswell, a good reason for employees to provide their workers with an office water cooler. But I'm sure most of you are more worried about your own minds rather than being productive for your boss, which is pretty understandable! By drinking 6 glasses of clean water a day you can help ward off later memory issues or severe diseases such as alzeihmers or dementia. Drinking water is of course not the only way to prevent these problems, if you also take regular exercise and also keep your mind occupied by doing things such as crosswords or sudoku it can make a really big difference! |
