My mom once told me that, one of the things she couldn't leave everyday was high heel shoes. Since the day she could wore his first high heel shoes out without her parents' complaining, she began to wear them nearly every day. With times goes by, the heels of her shoes have been changing slowly; from 3 inches to 5, 7, even 8 inches- the height I can't bear.

I'm so confused why she, also many others are so fascinated with high heel shoes though they brought them ugly feet. With her words, high heel shoes is definitely the thing that make women effortlessly between being concerned with fashion and being determined to save the world. She also forces me to accept the idea that it is a manner for women to wear high heel shoes in formal situations. I had never kept it in mind only after the experience in a party.

It was an awards ceremony of my friend, I was invited for congratulation with a lot of other excellent women- all in beautiful high heel shoes. I feel a little embarrassed when other women around me dwarf me with the help of high heels. At that moment, I feel stupid by my own design. But after standing for a long time waiting the end of the ceremony, every woman in high heel shoes hurried to find sits that I can hardly managed one for me.

Back into home, I feel crippled with my feet swollen. I could think out the pain of other women stood with. There are always many sides of people, like me, on one hand, I want to be in a style that makes me feel beautiful, and on the other hand comfort is so important to me. Thinking more about it, I can hardly say it foolish to wear high heel shoes with pain.

I have to admit that, high heel shoes make me feel powerful. An extra few inches can help me feel confidant and be taken seriously. An 8 inches heel does get me noticed and being at eye level with men. So I begin to follow my mother's journey with high heels too……until I lose feeling in my toes.
