The most frustrating thing about a breakup, could be that you cannot get your ex to talk. You just know that if you could sit down like two adults and talk, things could be worked out. But, the more you try to talk to him the farther he pulls away. So how are you to get your ex boyfriend back if he refuses to talk? The answer to that is, make him miss you so bad your ex will call and beg you to take him back.

But, the truth is, you should not be trying to talk to him right after a breakup. Neither one of you is in any emotional shape to make sense. The conversation would just wind up in a shouting match and you would solve nothing. The best thing you can do, is to stop trying to get him to talk at this time. Disappear from his radar for a few weeks and let him wonder what happened to you. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and the more absent you are from your ex right now, the better.

The longer he is without you, the better you are going to look to your ex boyfriend. He will remember the good times you had together and he will have a desire to have them back. Also it will occur to him that he has not heard from you and you are not trying to get him back. This is not what he expected when he broke up with you. He was sure that you would be begging and pleading for one more chance. But his phone is not ringing and the in box of his email is empty. This will cause him to wonder if you have found some other guy and he has lost you forever.

When you ex begins to miss you and worry about losing you, things are starting to turn to your favor. Now, your ex boyfriend is the one that wants to talk. But first, he will be sneaky and send an email. He will feel too guilty for not taking your calls and hope you will rush to answer the email. If you do answer in a hurry, he will know that everything is alright and you still want him back. This will mean that he can take his time and keep you waiting a while longer. So do not answer the email and he will have to call.

When he calls, let him leave a message and do not be in any hurry to call him back. He may call several times in the next couple of days and leave messages. This will tell you that he is definitely worried. When you call him back be cheerful and treat him like an old friend. If he wants to meet you for a talk, tell him you are too busy right now and will have to call him back in a few days. By the time you arrange a time and place for the talk, he will be missing you so bad, he will beg you to take him back .
