A marriage breaking up is a lot worse scenario than just a couple that has been dating for a few months. The pain and the agony that you have to go through when a marriage is on the rocks is not anything that you would want even your worst enemy to have to experience. Seems like every time you take a step forward, your wife seems to pull back from you.

You know that this cannot go on forever. You know that you either have to get your wife back, or deal with the reality that it truly is the end of your marriage. Well, you might not have to, after all.

Here are some tips to help you reconcile with her:

1. Don't give your wife an ultimatum on getting back together.

I have seen some people give out this advice and I have seen the consequences of it, and it's none too pretty. Giving someone an ultimatum is basically like telling them to be done with you. No woman wants to feel like she has to do something or else. So, even though it might feel good in the moment, realize that giving her an ultimatum is only going to lead to the inevitable breaking up for GOOD.

2. Don't go and try to get other people involved in the situation.

Getting other people, be they family members or friends to get involved in the situation is like asking for a WAR of sorts. You do not want to make things get out of control and messier than they have to be. This is between you and your wife, and you are the ones that need to sort things out without the influence of a lot of other people.

3. Do put together a real plan to get your wife back.

You can sit there and hem and haw about how much you want to get her back, but that is not going to do you any good. All it will do is make you feel POWERLESS and that is NEVER a good sign. Instead, with the right techniques put together in a proper plan, you can easily get your wife back without having to go through a lot of unnecessary drama. Leave that stuff for the soap operas, this is YOUR life.
