A Little Break Up Advice For Friends Can Be Good

Do you have a friend whose boyfriend just left her? Have you yourself gone through a break up and know what she must be feeling like? How about some break up advice for friends to help out. Being there for her may be a good thing, giving her support without babying her will help speed up the healing process so she can get past the pain she mat be experiencing.

What you can do is let her talk about it; letting her get it out of her system can be therapeutic. She should not hold it in; it will only get more painful emotionally if she keeps it to herself. If she says she does not want to talk about it, try to encourage her to open up without being pushy.

You need to make sure your friend gets out of the house and does stuff. Sitting at home is a bad idea because she will just sit and think about her situation. She may say she's not hungry and lie around all day, don't let her do that. She needs to make herself look good and go out with friends and have fun, maybe flirt around some.

If you are a true friend she will be appreciative of you being there to support her and helping her pull through this break up. If she talks about getting back together with her ex make sure she is doing it for the right reasons. If it looks like it's because she's lonely and just want back with him so she is with someone, tell her it may not be a good idea. It would be better for him to go out and meet someone new, and move on with her life.
