Is Your Ladder to Success Leaning Against the Wrong Wall? - Rich Dad Poor Dad

"As you climb the ladder of success, check occasionally to make sure it is leaning against the right wall."- Anon
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you had worked diligently on something that you soon (or not too soon) discovered was taking you down the wrong path?
Perhaps you needed to end a toxic relationship, or find a career or opportunity that was better suited for you. Many people look at these as failures, but that's the wrong outlook.
You should look at these necessary transitions as corrections; moments in time where you were making sure that what you were doing and more importantly, who you were being, was aligned with your destiny.
When you here people say that "success is not a destination, but a journey", what many of them are speaking to is the evolutionary process that you go through as you work toward your goals.
Often when a person reaches a certain level of success that they have long dreamed of, who they are as a person, what their priorities are, and even how they interpret the meaniing of their new accomplishment is completely different than what it would have been if they had accomplished it right when they started.
This is because they have become a different person--often many times--due to evolving with changing circumstances, times, and personal growth.
Never feel bad about a change that you know you needed to make. Be grateful that you were able to realize a situation that did not serve you and you got out in time to move on and create something else wonderful and more in alignment with who you are and what you aspire to be.
