Do You Plan Before You Move?

Do you, before you make any major decisions, plan and map out your move. It's how great leaders achieve great things. They understand the importance of strategic planning. Planning is a way for the leader to minimize failures along the way. Major failures come as a result of a lack of something, whether it is knowledge, experience or resources. Starting out in life we are all in this phase, its part of the growth process. Lack of knowledge is a great indicator that something else must be learned. People who think they know everything lack knowledge the most because of that very thought alone. Experience can only come through going through a process; it's really your testimony you have to share with others on how you overcame a situation. Resources whether it is time or money start out hectic for most people. It's important to realize that planning can prevent most of these things from happening.

Lack of knowledgewill force you to do research. It will force you to seek out the necessary knowledge to take on a challenge. It will show that you don't know everything and everyday of your planning process is an opportunity to learn. Everyday you should be learning something new; it should be a driving force to learn how you can become a better planner.

Experiencecan only come when you're going along your journey. However, as long as you acquire enough knowledge during your planning process and you've organized your resources in such a way then at the moment when lack of experience is evident you will be seen as somebody who has had the experience all because you've thoroughly planned your journey.

Resourcesare available to everybody. We all have the same 24 hour day; no one gets extra hours no matter how hard they try. We all have the opportunity to manage our finances better. Of course, people do generate different amounts of income but from what I've noticed that people who start out by budgeting and planning are often the ones who generate wealth. I strongly believe that a person cannot come into a blessing if he or she doesn't know how to manage the blessings that they currently have. This goes for planning. You as an individual must plan before any major decisions are made because in return it will minimize your failures along the way and position you as a person of expertise.
