How Can I Change My Life With My Thoughts? It never ceases to amaze me how many people think so negatively about life, and how easily so many could in fact change their lives for the better. You may be asking, how is this, or how can I justify saying this? The simple answer is that you simply need to walk out into the street, and start talking to people, or even mingle amongst people you know, and really talk to them. The good news is that I am going to explain this phenomenon in more detail, and offer a starting solution to this problem. To explain this point another way, I'd like to refer to a quote by Barbara de Angelis- " The more anger towards the past you carry in your heart, the less capable you are of loving in the present". This quote explains in a nut shell, my precise point here, that we need to change our thinking, and emotions, to a positive expectation, and thus, see the magical difference in our lives, and for that matter, those around us. We can take the opportunity of decision making, and action into our hearts, and consciously decide to make a difference, in both our lives and those around us. I say this, as in most cases, all that is required is for us to decide to act, and to start, any given plan or idea we may have. This way, we avoid the issues of asking ourselves "what if?" and know we are on a path towards achievement. I am very forceful about this point, as I know myself, that the hardest thing to do is t start a new project. However, once started, it is easier to continue, and in most cases, the way is shown for us, through our actions. I have proven too many times, that of we think we can not, we won't, but equally, by thinking that we can, we will, and more often than not, do better than we had anticipated. Furthermore, by showing others your efforts, you too, can inspire others as well. I can point to a writer, such as Norman Vincent Peale, who wrote the Art of Living in the late 1930's. He thought his work was not good enough, but his wife rescued it from the garbage bin, and it has influenced the lives of over fifteen million readers to date. Hence, if you think you can, you can, and likewise, if you think you can't, you are right too. What choice will you make? |
