Making the Law of Attraction Do What You Want

I understand when people ask, "How can I make the Law of Attraction do what I want?" Usually, they are just learning about the power of their thoughts to transform their lives, and through conditioning they have the misguided idea that the Law won't work for them without some kind of force involved.

Let me state clearly the following: The Law of Attraction is an irrefutable Law that states that what you think about, you bring about.

It is not something that is just starting now to work in your life, the Law of Attraction has been operating in your life, and in the lives of every thinking being on this planet, since the beginning of time.

If you want to use the Law of Attraction to bring about certain results, you have to change the way you think. You have to concentrate on what you want, instead of all the reasons you don't have it and instead of any reasons why you supposedly can't have it.

There are 11 other Laws that are the pillars of support for the Law of Attraction, and they are all of equal importance. In this case the one you need to be aware of is the Law of Non-Resistance.

There is no resistance on the part of the Law of Attraction towards anything that you have decided you want in your life. The only resistance that exists is in your mind, and that is in accordance with your system of beliefs.

The Law of Attraction is an impersonal, irrevocable Law that aligns your thoughts with the infinite possibilities inherent within the Universe, and causes what you think about to become actualized in your life.

So, how does this work? How can you make the Law of Attraction do what you want?

1. Decide what you want.

Get as clear an idea of this as you possibly can. You don't have to get it perfect the first day; the nice thing about this technique is that the more you think about it, the clearer it becomes in your mind, and you'll often find yourself adding things (and therefore thoughts) to it as you begin your work with the Law of Attraction.

2. Make up an affirmation.

Write down an affirmation that says you already have this, how you are using and enjoying it, and how happy you feel now that you have it. If you can find a picture of what you want, put that with your affirmation.

3.Repeat your affirmation at intervals.

Set aside three intervals every day, of between five and ten minutes, where you go over this affirmation with as much feeling as possible that you already have it. The two most important times are first thing when you wake up in the morning, and the last thing you do before you go to sleep.

If it is at all possible, try to speak the affirmation out loud. Before the Law of Attraction can really kick in, it is important for you, your inner self, to get used to hearing these words.

Most of us have been taught to think negatively, so the first three to ten days of doing this has more to do with hearing yourself say these positive things, and therefore switching from a negative to a positive mindset.

Once your mindset has begun to switch, the Law of Attraction, which has customarily brought you the things your negative thinking cause, will switch over and align your new thoughts with the infinite wisdom and possibilities of the Universe...and that which you desire will manifest in your life.
