How to Get the Law of Attraction on Your Side

What is the best way to get the Law of Attraction on your side? When we ask this, what we really want to know is how to get the Law of Attraction to workforus, instead of against us.

While the Law of Attraction is impersonal, the Universe is not. And it is a proven fact that the Universe responds more quickly to positive thoughts and desires than it does to negative ones.

The thoughts we think, from moment to moment, from hour to hour, are automatically being responded to by the Universe. In order to change our lives and manifest our desires, we must therefore change our thoughts.

The next most important thing to factor into this equation is our emotions, - how wefeelabout things.

While there are some people who would try to place feelings above thoughts in this grand scheme of things, our emotionsfollowour thoughts, and not the other way around.

If we can get both our thoughtsandour feelings on the same track, the Law of Attraction will cause the materialization of our desires far more quickly than if we justthinkabout what we want.

This said, make a list of things that you want to manifest in your life.

Take the one that is the most important to you right at this moment.

Make a short, specific sentence (affirmation) that says you have itnow.

Get a physical picture that represents what you want, - something that, when you look at it, invokes an emotional chord that goes along with your affirmation.

Try to relax and put yourself into an alpha state.

Sit quietly for five minutes, repeating over and over the affirmation you have written, and looking at the representative picture. If negative thoughts or images intrude, simply say to yourself, "Thank you for sharing," and brush them aside.

Once you have completed the exercise, let it go. Whenever thoughts of doubt enter your mind, tell yourself, "The Law of Attraction is immutable and cannot be thwarted. My thoughts are the only power in my life. The Law is working with my new thoughts now, and the Universe is rearranging everything necessary to bring me what I want now."

The best wording for your affirmation may take a couple of days to get right, but there will be a 'feel' to it and you will know when you have got it.

The best timing for this exercise is first thing in the morning, when you awaken, because for the first ten or fifteen minutes you are usually still in an alpha state; and just before you are ready to go to sleep, for the same reasons.
