Simple All Natural Acne Treatment Tips

There is no need to continue to buy acne products at the drug store and spend hundreds of dollars to get clearer skin. There are plenty of all natural options and to tell you the truth, I've found them to work much better than harsh chemical and medical treatment options.

Some of these old-fashioned treatments are appropriate for any skin and ance type, while others (especially the tonics and masks we will discuss a little further down) will work for one person but not another. The key here is to just give a few a try until you find the one that works best to clear up your acne.

I'll share a few of those natural treatment options with you here and hope you will give them a try and find the one that is just right for you and gives you that clear, radiant skin.

The first thing I recommend you do is to write down every single thing you eat and drink. Then eliminate one type of food that is considered to be causing or aggravating acne. An example might be chocolate or potato chips. Remove it completely from your diet for a week and see if your skin starts to improve during that time. Also make sure you drink a lot of water. Personally I try to aim for at least 80 ounces per day. It will help keep you hydrated and flush toxins out of your system. Of course you also want to make sure you continue to regularly clean your skin.

With all that said, it's time to share some actual natural treatment options with you. I give you a few ideas here to get you started. Give them a try and see which ones work best for you. You should start to notice an improvement within a week or two. It helps to keep some sort of record of what you are trying and how your skin is reacting. By doing this you should quickly be able to determine which treatments work best for you.

Start your day by washing your face and then using Witch Hazel like a facial toner. Not only does it keep bacteria out of skin pores, it will also tighten them which will instantly improve the look of your skin. If you are currently suffering from an acne outbreak, try making a paste from baking soda and water. Spread this paste all over your face and keep it on for a good 15 to 20 minutes. Baking soda naturally balances out ph and will get your skin back to where it should be. When the time is up, rinse the paste off with plenty of cool water. Use a clean cloth to dry your skin. Avoid rubbing and use it to pad your face dry instead.

At night and throughout the day after my morning skin routine, I like to use apple cider vinegar. Just put it on a cotton ball or a piece of paper towel and dab it on the affected areas. Vinegar dries out the skin a bit and with it the acne. Regular use of apple cider vingar als also been shown to be effecive in reducing acne scars.

Both Tea Tree Oil and Aloe Vera have been shown to help with acne. For best results, combine the two. I like to get Aloe Vera gel and then mix in a little tea tree oil before applying it to my face. This has become part of my daily skin care routine and along with drinking plenty of water, exercising and doing my best to get some sunshine on my face each day seem to be making the biggest difference for me.

I hope you will give these natural acne treatments a try and find the ones that are working best for you. It may take a little bit of trial and error, but believe me it is all well worth it in the end.
