You need to learn a few tactics to get your ex back in your life. Ever since the breakup, it's natural to feel unsure about yourself. But now that has to stop and it's time to get back on your feet if you truly want to get back your ex.

1. Enough with the depressed individual and remind your ex of the person they fell in love with. Laugh and stay positive and show them why breaking up was a huge mistake.

2. Distress calls won't do the trick. If you keep on calling our ex chances are you'll annoy them further or they'll say something you don't want to hear just to get you to stop. Either way, it will cause you more pain, so better to let them have their space for now and show them you can manage without them by your side.

3. Instead of clinging and acting desperate, agree with the breakup and keep your distance. The more you fight against their decision, the more reason you'll give them to pull away from you. Your maturity and respect for their decision will catch them off guard.

4. Don't give them the upper hand and let them know you miss them. As of now, it's important to make them miss you. So make yourself scarce for a while.

5. Avoid flirting with his friends, especially his best friend! The jealous game won't work in your favor and it will only cause him to pull further away from you.

6. If you're having a hard time coping, try to leave town for a while for a much needed alone time. Don't tell anyone of your plans, and at the same time you're letting your ex realize what your worth is as they begin to think about life without you.

7. If your ex wishes to be friends, then agree if you're up to it. Being friends will help you be comfortable with each other again, and as the friendship grows, chances are the feelings will grow as well. Besides, if you spend enough time with each other and enjoy each other's company, then they wouldn't have time to date other people.

8. Time to redo yourself, not just physically but emotionally as well. Change bad attitudes and become a better person. When your ex notices the change then they'll want to meet the new you.

9. To keep your mind off your ex and depressing thoughts is to keep busy and find other activities to focus on. This will also be a great time to catch up with friends. Keeping busy will help you become stronger and be more like your self again.

10. Tactics to get your ex back won't work unless you have confidence in yourself. Maintain your positive outlook in life and prove to your ex why they should be with you.
