2.The Mayan calendar is an ancient Calendar which ends on December 21, 2012. The Mayans have accurately predicted many events, and so people are worried about what this means. The Chinese I-Ching prophecies also predict the end of the world on this exact date, which is interesting considering there is no way people living in those ancient times on opposite sides of the Earth would be able to communicate.

3.Prophecies made by Nostradamus among others also predict great disasters in the year 2012.

4.The Bible Code, which is a method for discovering hidden messages in the Bible, has predicted events with great accuracy. The Bible Code also predict major catastrophes in the year 2012.
