For those who wanted to be successful in their life, they will set goals. However, most people who set their goals, they will still procrastinate and not taking the necessary action to make their goals come true. If you are having this situation right now, don’t worry, I have 3 fantastic strategies that can help you to stop your procrastination in pursuing your goals.

Before I tell you the 3 strategies, you must understand that goal setting is just a process that helps you to stay focused in your direction where you are heading. Goal setting itself cannot help you achieve what you want in your life; it is the action that you take that will bring you the results that you want. Therefore, you must be willing to take action towards your goal, if you are not, nothing will ever come true. Success will not come automatically, success will not fall from the sky, so take the necessary action and you will see the results you want.

So let us discover the 3 fantastic strategies to stop procrastination in pursuing your goals. Most people set their goals, but only a few of them actually achieve what they want. Here are how…

1. You have to develop the momentum all the time.

What I mean here is, once you have set your goals, you have to create the momentum to keep you going. For example, if your goal is to make $1 million in 3 years, what you can do to build up your momentum right after setting this goal is that you can visit bookstore and buy some wealth books to read, or you can even register for any wealth courses and seminars. By doing so, you are developing the momentum; you are telling yourself that it is a routine to do so.

What action steps you take are not the main point; the main point is to make the whole process a routine in your life. Once you have developed the momentum, nothing can ever stop you. Just like a train, it is hard to move in the beginning, but once it moved, nothing can ever stop it. Remember to take at least 1 action step to develop your momentum everyday.

2. You have to put yourself on the line.

This is what most people will not do, and this is why most of them fail to achieve their goals. After you have set your goals, you have to put yourself on the line where you need to force yourself into a situation that has no turning back. The best way to do so is by making a public commitment. If you tell everyone about your goals and what you want to achieve in your life, you are actually putting yourself in a situation where there is no turning back for you.

You know if you tell everyone, you have no choice but to achieve your goals. This is what I mean by putting yourself on the line. Just imagine about it, if you tell all your friends that your goal is to be a millionaire in 3 years, what are they going to tell you? Some will motivate you, but most will think that you are crazy and laugh at you. Don’t get discourage by them, instead, take their words as the drive to keep you going. This is how it works. Make use of your surrounding to motivate you.

3. You have to form a mastermind group.

So what is a mastermind group? It is a group that shares the same thinking and same goals. You know that if you want to stay motivated all the time, you have to be in a motivated surrounding, and this is what a mastermind group can do for you. Look for friends that share the same goals as you, always be with them and motivate each other.

With the help of internet, it is even easier to form a mastermind group. For instance, you can join any forums, discussion boards, and groups that you are interested in. Contribute and share your experience there, learn from other members as well, read other successful stories and you will keep yourself hot always.

These are the 3 fantastic strategies to stop procrastination in pursuing your goals. Motivation is something very important if your journey to success. Without motivation, you will lose the drive and once you lost the drive, you will start to procrastinate. Therefore, always keep yourself in the driven state by following all the 3 strategies mentioned here.
