Previously, I brought you four very effective ways of whitening teeth over a period of two weeks, enough time to be ready for the summer holidays. Now, I am bringing four more effective teeth whitening tactics that are well known by the pros in the industry but have been kept a secret, until now:

1. Strawberries:

These magical little berries are a closely kept secret in the dental community. Apart from being ridiculously healthy to eat, they are one of nature's best teeth whitening "products". The secret behind this remarkable fruit is Malic acid.

Combine baking soda with some freshly cut and pulped strawberries and mix thoroughly. Afterwards, use a soft toothbrush and use like regular toothpaste. After, be sure you use regular fluoride containing tooth paste to rinse off your mouth.

Warning: since strawberries contain Malic acid, be careful to not use more than once or twice a week to prevent your enamel from being wiped off.

2. Sippin' Technique:

If you're a heavy drinker of coffee, coke, tea or other drinks then the following technique will apply to you more than it will other people. You'll begin to see noticeable results in 2 weeks with consistent brushing.

Simply sip through a straw when taking your drinks. I recommend this to my office working clients who I know drink their body weight in coffee every day (even though they don't like to admit it). It is often surprising to my clients how damaging those drinks are to not only their teeth, but their overall health.

3. Baking Soda:

Ok folks, I'm going to be honest and level with you, nothing works like a professionally engineered teeth whitener (like this personally researched one Be Well And Fit ) or a bleaching operation, but some things come pretty close. One of those things is baking soda. I'm a fan of it because unlike acids, it isn't prone to removing the calcium from your teeth and leaving them brittle.

That doesn't mean that you can use it every day, but once a week combine it with your daily tooth paste routine and you'll see results.

In addition to these tips, consider trying out tooth pastes that are made from more natural ingredients (rather than Colgate, etc...) because they are more gentle on your mouth. Rather than try to simply brighten your teeth, use a total oral health approach.

Good luck and I hope that helped.
