This article focuses on the health and well-being of your brain. Obviously, that's the place where memories are created and stored for your recall. To stop memory loss , you need to have a healthy brain.

No one really likes to forget good or useful memories. We can all forget the crappy stuff like the lover who dumped you or a car accident but the birth of your child is a tough memory to lose.

Your Brain After the Age of 40

After 40 or even sooner for some people, your brain starts to age. Eventually, some wise guy hands you one of those pins that saysCRS – Can't Remember Stuff! Receiving one of these pins is NOT a good memory.

A More Serious Condition

Some older people suffer from Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a more severe form of memory loss. It affects approximately 20% of people over 70. These people don't just forget where they put their car keys, they forget major events and may language skill problems.

Why You Must Stop Memory Loss Now

This is a rather frightening fact from a mercola.com health article:

Mild cognitive impairment is described as a transitory phase between normal brain function and more serious problems like dementia and Alzheimer's disease. While 1 - 2 percent of people develop dementia, this rate rises to10 - 15 percentamong those with MCI.

Stop Memory Loss with These Three Activites

Don't let Mild Cognitive Impairment develop. Stop memory loss as soon as possible by doing these three simple activities:

Exercise Your Body- the movements created by regular exercise improve circulation of oxygen and nutrients to the brain.

Feed Your Brain- a brain starving for essential nutrients will eventually fail.

Exercise Your Brain– a couch potato passively watching the TV set day in and day out is more likely to develop memory loss than a person who actively uses his/her brain.

What's Next?

Want an age-specific, age defying exercise program that will help arrest memory loss?
