It's kind of human nature to blame others. After all, you're perfect (honest!) so it must be everyone else who is to blame. But when it comes to this all the time, maybe it's time tostop blaming others. Here are some tips on how to do this.

1. Count to ten

Slowly!

This is exactly what your mother told you to do when you were younger. And it still works. If you are about to leap up and blame someone, take the time to count slowly to ten. Then, even if you still need to blame them, you'll at least be slightly calmer. Take a little bit of time out before you become the one who everyone tries to avoid because it's never your fault but always some else's issue.

2. Watch your words

We can get really insulting when we blame other people. Which can, in turn, cause them to mess up more often as they lose their own confidence. Be careful what you say - if you wouldn't want someone to say (or scream) those words at you, there's a good chance you shouldn't be firing your wrath at someone else.

3. Don't pass the buck

The sign "the buck stops here" applies to all of us at least some of the time. Are you blaming someone else because you delegated something to them that you really should have done yourself? If that's the case, you're probably just passing the blame on that should, in all reality, be aimed at you.
